New Carbon Coming possesses comprehensive testing and inspection equipment, enabling precise control over various product parameters. This ensures that every batch of products meets national standards and customer requirements, guaranteeing the stability and reliability of product quality from the source.
Specific Surface Area and Pore Size Analyzer (BET)
This is the most critical piece of equipment for testing activated carbon. Utilizing the gas adsorption method, it precisely determines the specific surface area of the activated carbon (expressed in square meters per gram), as well as the size and distribution of its internal pores.
UV-Visible Spectrophotometer (UV-Vis)
This instrument calculates the adsorption capacity of activated carbon by measuring the changes in concentration of specific solutions (such as iodine solution or methylene blue solution) before and after adsorption.
Adsorption Rate Analyzer
Specifically designed to determine the saturated adsorption capacity of activated carbon for particular substances (such as carbon dioxide, carbon tetrachloride, etc.), thereby evaluating its purification capability for specific gases.
Laser Particle Size Analyzer
Used to determine the particle size and distribution of powdered activated carbon. Particle size directly influences key performance parameters of the product, such as adsorption rate and pressure drop.
Activated Carbon Testing
New Carbon Coming implements a comprehensive quality control system for each batch of activated carbon, ensuring that every step from raw materials to finished products is under control
1) Confirmation of raw material type (coconut shell, coal, wood, fruit shell)
2) Detection of moisture, ash, volatile matter, and fixed carbon content
3) Particle size distribution analysis
4)Impurity content screening
1.Particle size distribution of pulverized raw materials
2.Uniformity assessment
3.Purity check
1.Density uniformity of semi-finished products
2.Appearance quality inspection
3.Preliminary strength test
1.Carbonization degree assessment
2.Semi-finished product strength test
3.Moisture content detection
1.Preliminary iodine value and methylene blue value detection
2.Specific surface area analysis
3.Pore size distribution assessment
1.Adsorption performance: Iodine value, methylene blue value, CTC value, caramel decolorization rate, etc.
2.Physical indicators: Strength, particle size distribution, apparent density, moisture
3.Chemical indicators: Ash content, pH value, heavy metal content
4.Specialized tests: Dechlorination performance, sulfur capacity, butane working capacity, etc.
1.At least 3 samples are randomly selected from each batch of products for full-item testing. Test
2.results are archived for future reference and customer traceability.
