Raw materials include pitch, resin, and natural plant sources. After carbonization, activation treatment (steam or alkaline substances) creates pores that significantly increase specific surface area. Pore shape and surface area depend on raw materials and activation methods, directly affecting capacitor performance (capacitance and resistance) and lifespan (reliability).
